The Holiday Inn Express is generally reckoned to be the best of the small selection of hotels in Colton, CA - along I-215 (by the Iowa/Cadena exit), a few miles south of San Bernadino. The place is quite large, with 150 well presented rooms in two 4-floor blocks, either side of a nice tropical pool/garden area, and it has a good reputation for cleanliness, comfort, and the welcoming staff. Better than average free breakfast buffet is served each day, including several hot items, and while the neighborhood has only limited facilities, there are a couple of fast food restaurants next door. Other amenities at the AAA Three Diamond hotel include a hot tub, exercise room, guest laundry, and complimentary local area shuttle.

Colton's Best Western hotel faces I-10, the San Bernardino Freeway, a few blocks west of the I-215 intersection, but is set back a little way from the highway and so provides a quiet night's sleep.
