Big Bear Lake Hotels

Holiday Inn Resort Big Bear caters for guests in 148 modern, nicely decorated, lodge-style rooms, with views of the quiet, partly wooded neighborhood - one block from Big Bear Boulevard on the south side of the lake, a short walk from Big Bear Marina. A shuttle to the ski lifts is available, for a small fee. Some of the rooms have views over the sundeck, garden and outdoor pool/hot tub at the front; inside, facilities include a fitness center, meeting space for up to 400 people, and a full service restaurant/lounge - open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hampton Inn Big Bear Lake opened early 2024; a dual-branded property, together with the Home2Suites, along Big Bear Boulevard (SR 18), and also accessed from Park Avenue at the rear; a typically wooded neighborhood, a few blocks east of downtown. The trees are rather higher than the building so views are limited, though beautiful mountain scenery is just a short drive away. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and free hot breakfast.

The Home2 Suites is the extended stay component of a dual-branded Hilton project, completed early 2024 - along the main road through town, Hwy 18, less than a mile from the Big Bear Lake shoreline. Also within walking distance are restaurants, a supermarket (Vons) and other stores. The all-suite accommodations are available in studio, one bedroom and two bedroom layouts; all have a fully-equipped kitchen. Daily hot breakfast is complimentary.

Best Western Big Bear Lake Chateau occupies a Swiss chalet-style building in a densely-wooded residential neighborhood one block from the main road (CA 18) and a mile from the lake shore. This is a full service establishment with its own restaurant & bar, a heated outdoor pool (seasonal), sauna, exercise room, and a range of facilities for weddings, conferences and events. Each of the 80 rooms features a fireplace and either a patio or balcony; some have pool views. The hotel is a mile from both the Big Bear and Snow Summit ski centers - the most popular winter attractions in the San Bernardino Mountains.
