Cape Final overlooks the southeast section of the Grand Canyon, centered, in the foreground, on a long, red ridge (Jupiter Temple and Juno Temple), which divides the drainages of Unkar Creek, Basalt Canyon and Lava Creek. The Little Colorado River can just be seen to the northeast, providing the only break in the tall cliffs of Esplanade of the Desert, which extend south for ten miles towards Desert View. Peaks to the south include Solomon Temple, Rama Shrine and Vishnu Temple.
