Jackson Hotels

Generally considered the best of the small number of chain hotels in Jackson, Best Western The Lodge is a large, Western-style building on a quiet side road just off US 26/89/189/191 one mile west of the city center and one block from a shopping district with several restaurants. Many of the 153 refrigerator/microwave-equipped rooms & suites have nice views south to the wooded slopes of Snow King Mountain, to northwards towards Gros Ventre Butte, behind which lies the Teton Range; the national park entrance is just 11 miles away. Hotel highlights include a two-floor fireplace lobby, free hot breakfast, a lounge/bar, fitness center, pool, hot tub and sauna.

The extra large and well equipped accommodations at Homewood Suites by Hilton Jackson feature a full kitchen, separate sleeping/living areas, a work desk, a fireplace and two TVs; some have a whirlpool bath, and all are ideal for Jackson visitors needing extra space and facilities. Both hot breakfast and evening reception (Mon-Thu) are complimentary, while for other meals there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is just 3 blocks from the main road (US 26/191) towards the north edge of town, yet it has a quiet and scenic location near Flat Creek, with views across to the steep slopes of Gros Ventre Butte. Also available are a business center, meeting space, pool, snack shop and children's playground.

A second Hilton hotel opens summer 2012 in Jackson, complimenting the Homewood Suites in the town center. Hampton Inn Jackson Hole is part of the main shopping area in town, along the western approach (US 26.89/191) near the Hwy 22 intersection. Highlights include free hot breakfast, a convenience store, pool, fitness center, business center and meeting space. Besides the regular accommodations there are a number of one-room studio suites available, all with sofa bed, microwave, refrigerator and sink; food for cooking can be purchased from the adjacent Albertson's supermarket.

The Quality Inn hotel in Jackson, WY, occupies one block in a quiet, residential district near the town center - less than half a mile from Town Square and so close to many restaurants, shops and art galleries. Guests have a choice of 142 rooms - large, clean and reasonably priced; also available are a number of suites with one or more of a microwave, refrigerator, fireplace and whirlpool bath. Free continental breakfast is provided, and the adjacent Chili Pepper restaurant/lounge is open all day for other meals, and evening drinks. The hotel has no pool, but there are two hot tubs, a sauna and a fitness center.

The Motel 6 is one of the first hotels to greet travelers arriving in Jackson from the south, and it provides some of the lowest-priced lodging in town, while still being clean, welcoming and conveniently located near to shopping & dining. Facilities are limited to wi-fi, laundry, cable TV, free coffee, and a small outdoor pool set in the middle of a courtyard garden at the center of the property. Downtown Jackson is 2 miles east along the main road, with Grand Teton National Park ten miles further.
