West Yellowstone Hotels

The full service Holiday Inn West Yellowstone has 123 rooms & suites, a fitness center, pool, sauna & whirlpool, casino, newsstand/gift shop, convention center, games and other facilities for children, a complimentary shuttle within two miles and a restaurant/cocktail lounge/bar - all of which makes this the top hotel in town. The Holiday Inn is located at 315 W Yellowstone Dr, on the south side of West Yellowstone, overlooking mostly empty land at the edge of the pine forest, a site that was formerly the terminus of a branch line of the Union Pacific railroad. The Yellowstone National Park boundary is just 3 blocks east of the hotel, and all facilities in town are within walking distance.

The 70 room Best Western Cross-Winds Inn lies on the main road through West Yellowstone, Firehole Avenue, which is named after the river that flows through most of Yellowstone's thermal areas; the hotel is at the northwest corner of the junction with Dunraven St, towards the east side of town. The recently renovated inn has 2 blocks separated by a courtyard/parking area, and contains 70 rooms, an indoor pool & spa. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and the Yellowstone IMAX theater is 0.4 miles away. The west entrance to the national park is half a mile east, along highway US 20/191/287.

Best Western's Desert Inn is located one block east of the Cross Winds Inn, on the east side of highway US 20/191/287, just south of its junction with Firehole Avenue and a few yards away from the edge of town, the national park boundary and the start of the Gallatin National Forest. This is another medium sized hotel (74 rooms, facing either north or south) and its amenities include complementary breakfast, spa, pool, guest laundry, and microwave & refrigerator in each room. The inn is adjacent to a casino/lounge/restaurant, and 1/4 mile from all necessary facilities in the center of West Yellowstone.

On the north edge of West Yellowstone, Best Western Weston Inn has a relaxing setting with rooms to the north having views towards the fir trees of the national forest and those to the south looking out over a grassy field. Location is 103 Gibbon Avenue, next to its junction with US 191/287; less than half a mile from both the town center and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Unusually for this location, the Weston Inn has a (heated) outdoor pool, and also offers a hot tub, free continental breakfast and ice/vending machines. The nearest restaurants are 1/4 mile away.

Comfort Inn West Yellowstone occupies an L-shaped building right at the west edge of town, in a quiet neighborhood. South and west facing rooms overlook the surrounding national forest and distant mountain ranges; several trails into the woodland start right outside. The west entrance to Yellowstone National Park is a mile east of the hotel, and all shops, restaurants and businesses within town are within a mile. The Comfort Inn has an exercise room, heated indoor pool/hot tub, guest laundry and breakfast bar.
