Residence Inn Boise Downtown has the older design for this brand, with the 104 suites divided into several two storey blocks, linked by tree-lined walkways and courtyard gardens. All accommodations include a fully equipped kitchen, most have a private balcony or patio, while some (the Penthouse Suites) are on two floors, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. West-facing rooms overlook the fields and trees of the adjacent Ann Morrison Park. The hotel provides free hot breakfast every morning and free social events on Tuesday to Thursday evenings; other complimentary amenities are an airport shuttle, internet access and a grocery shopping service. Leisure facilities are an outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center and sports court.

One of four Marriott hotels in downtown Boise, the Courtyard caters for guests in 162 rooms & suites, all modern, spacious, brightly decorated and equipped with extra comfortable bedding. Some have views over the central courtyard garden, containing a pond, waterfalls, flowers, walkways and an outdoor fireplace. The hotel is part of the Parkcenter business district but is just a short walk from Julia Davis Park beside the Boise River, on the far side of which is Bronco Stadium and Boise State University. Other features are a newly redesigned lobby with areas for work and relaxation, a lounge/bar (open for breakfast, dinner & evening drinks), a Starbuck's Coffee House, an indoor pool/hot tub, a 24 hour convenience store and meeting/event space.

Boise's TownePlace Suites hotel opened early 2009, located next to a Marriott sister property (Residence Inn) in a mixed residential/business neighborhood a few blocks south of the city center, between Boise State University and the sports fields at Ann Morrison Park. The all-suite accommodation comprises 121 studio, one bed or two bed rooms, all nicely decorated and equipped with a full kitchen. Hotel amenities include free hot breakfast buffet, free shuttle to Boise Airport (2.5 miles south), free internet access, an indoor pool/whirlpool, a fitness center with free weights, and a 24 hour business center.

Along Parkcenter Blvd in east Boise, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott is a large, modern and well managed hotel offering comfortable, all-suite accommodation, excellent customer service, a quiet, scenic location close to the Boise River and a good range of amenities, including a complimentary airport/local area shuttle, a pool/whirlpool, a business center and free buffet breakfast. For other meals there are several restaurants a short walk northwards, and various shops including Albertson's supermarket. All 320 suites at the hotel have a microwave, refrigerator, wet bar, sofa bed, 37" TV, free internet access and separate living area.

The Doubletree hotel in Boise occupies an older, low rise building just east of downtown, surrounded by extensive lawns and wooded parking areas, between a small canal and the Boise River. The Parkcenter business district lies to the north and east, while other nearby locations include Bronco Stadium, Boise State University, Julia Davis Park and St Luke's Medical Center. The 7 storey, 158 room hotel has two dining outlets - The Cafe, serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, or the Creekside Louge, open for dinner and evening drinks - plus all the usual facilities for leisure, business and events.

The Hampton Inn rises ten floors above downtown Boise, high enough for many of the 186 rooms to enjoy great views across the city to the surrounding mountains. The hotel has a central location along Capitol Boulevard, within a few blocks of many locations including Boise Center, the State Capitol, Julia Davis Park and Boise Art Museum, plus many restaurants, bars & entertainment venues. Free hot breakfast is provided each morning, or free a take-away option for those in a hurry. Other facilities are a 24 hour fitness center, an indoor pool (on the 5th floor, and so also with nice views), a business center and a small meeting room.
