The small town of Santa Nella has just three hotels of note, all catering primarily to travelers along I-5 which runs close by - for those driving north from Los Angeles (270 miles away), the town is a good choice to spend the first night. Best Western Andersen's Inn has an easily-reached location right next to exit 407 of interstate 5 (east side), within walking distance of the very limited facilities of Santa Nella. Nearby attractions include Forebay Golf Course (1 mile), San Luis Reservoir (3 miles) and Los Banos Creek State Recreation Area (14 miles). All day dining is available at the on-site Anderson's Pea Soup Restaurant, or the adjacent Wendy's and Subway. Ten miles south of Gustine, and ten miles west of Los Banos, the Motel 6 is the cheaper of a small group of hotels serving Santa Nella, adjacent to I-5 exit 407; there are several gas stations and fast food restaurants nearby though most of the surroundings are flat farmland. The motel has two floors, exterior corridors, an outdoor pool, guest laundry, and small but generally clean rooms. Free coffee is served in the lobby, and wi-fi is available for a nominal fee. Pets are allowed.
