With a scenic location right by the ocean, and close to the many attractions around La Jolla, Mission Bay and Point Loma, Best Western Blue Sea Lodge is a good choice for beachfront accommodation in the San Diego area. The hotel is just off the main road through Pacific Beach (Mission Blvd), within easy walking distance of shopping and dining in the town center, and 2.7 miles from the nearest interstate (I-5, exit 23). Some of the 126 rooms enjoy unobscured views of the beach and the ocean, as does the outdoor pool/courtyard area. Rooms facing the street are rather cheaper, however.
