Situated midway between the centers of Pismo Beach, Grover Beach and Arroyo Grande, the Holiday Inn Express occupies a large, partly wooded site on a hillside right next to US 101 (Oak Park Rd exit), high enough for some of its 78 rooms to have views over the ocean. The hotel is two miles from the coast, one mile from Pismo Beach Prime Outlets Mall and walking distance from many restaurants - AJ Spurs seems to be a favorite. Rooms are well furnished and many have a balcony, looking out over the extensive grounds that contain an outdoor pool, whirlpool, sundeck, gardens, oak trees and plenty of parking. The Express Start Breakfast Bar serves the familiar continental fare.
