Towards the south edge of the small town of Brentwood, CA, the Holiday Inn Express is a small hotel of 2 floors and 50 rooms, in a residential area but close to the farmland and vineyards of Contra Costa County. Although rather an old building, the hotel was renovated in 2006 and has compact, clean accommodation, with each room containing a microwave and a refrigerator. Brentwood does not have many facilities; the main shopping center is 1.5 miles north of the hotel on the far side of town, though the nearest restaurant/bar (Pee Wee Muldoon's) is just one block south. The Holiday Inn Express has an outdoor pool and serves free continental breakfast.
