The DoubleTree is a downtown Lubbock hotel, situated beside Martha Sharp Freeway (US 82), opposite a Wal-Mart superstore and near a selection of restaurants; other places close by include the Civic Center, Kaplan College and the County Courthouse. The hotel has 140 comfortable rooms & suites, the latter with wet bar, sofa bed, dining table and balcony. For meals, the on-site restaurant/bar is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner plus all-day room service; it is located in the atrium lobby which also contains tropical plants and a swimming pool. The 6,465 sq ft of meeting space can cater for single events of up to 200 people.

The Holiday Inn is a late 2018 addition to the many accommodation choices in Lubbock - a large, full service property on the southwest side of the city 6 miles from downtown, along the southern Hwy 327 frontage road, close to US 62. In the vicinity are a few shops & restaurants, and several business premises; the nearest larger stores are one mile north. Accommodations comprise regular rooms, suites and family rooms; all have a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The onsite restaurant servesbbreakfast, lunch & dinner, and provides room service. The lobby bar is open from 11 am to 2 am. Other facilities include an indoor pool, business & fitness centers and two meeting rooms.

The second Courtyard hotel in Lubbock is situated on the north side of US 82 (Marsha Sharp Freeway), less than a mile from the edge of the Texas Tech University campus, and a similar distance from the city center. The immediate surroundings are residential, however, though restaurants and a Wal-Mart store are within walking distance, on the far side of the freeway. The four storey building contains 94 rooms and 9 suites, plus 3 meeting rooms and a restaurant which is open for dinner, lunch & breakfast. Like all recently built properties of this brand, the entrance is through a large, colorfully-decorated lobby with plenty of quiet places for work and relaxation, plus a media board and drinks bar.

Courtyard Lubbock is a beautifully clean, modern property - one of the top rated hotels in town, on account of the good location near to dining and shops, the efficient staff, comfortable rooms & beds, and the quality of the free continental breakfast. Leisure choices are an indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. Besides the free breakfast, the hotel's restaurant (Bistro) also serves evening cocktails. The inn adjoins another Marriott property (Fairfield Inn) alongside Loop 289, on the southwest side of the city.

The northernmost of two Residence Inn hotels in Lubbock is built along the US 82 frontage road at the University Avenue intersection, within walking distance of the Jones AT&T Stadium and other sites in the Texas Tech University. The city center is one mile southeast. The hotel provides free hot breakfast each morning, and free receptions weekday evenings; for other meals there are seven restaurants within one block. All the suites (one bedroom, two bedroom and studio) contain a full kitchen and a sofa bed. Recreation amenities are the usual swimming pool and fitness center.

Residence Inn Lubbock is part of a developing business/commercial area on the south side of Hwy 327 near the US 62 intersection, on the west edge of the city, within walking distance of a few restaurants and shops. The Staybridge Suites has a southwesterly location in Lubbock, along the southern Loop 289 frontage road, one mile from South Plains Mall and within walking distance of several stores & restaurants. Despite the busy neighborhood the immediate surroundings are quiet, as the hotel is set back 700 feet from the freeway, behind other buildings, adjoining a residential estate. The apartment-style suites feature a full kitchen, a large work desk and free wi-fi, and they are available in two bedroom, one bedroom and studio layouts. Free hot breakfast is prepared each morning, and free receptions three weekday evenings. A convenience store and laundry facility are open 24 hours a day.

Staybridge Suites Lubbock accommodates extended stay guests in 82 spacious suites, all with a full kitchen, divided sleeping/living areas, 2 phone lines, and a private bathroom with whirlpool. The hotel is located quite centrally, at the corner of 19th Street (US 62) and University Avenue, right next to the campus of Texas Tech University. Hot breakfast buffet is proved (free), plus free evening receptions, while for other dining there are several restaurants within easy walking distance. Exterior facilities are a pool, whirlpool and gazebo with bbq grills.

Embassy Suites Lubbock provides the closest accommodation to the 150 dining/shopping/entertainment outlets at South Plains Mall; the hotel is situated on the opposite side of Loop 289, beside several other stores and restaurants. Guests are greeted by a welcoming atrium lobby featuring fountains, waterfalls, a koi pond, tropical plants and plenty of comfortable seating, including a dining area where the free breakfast and free evening receptions are provided. Airport transportation is also complimentary. The all-suite accommodation comprises 156 beautifully-decorated, two room suites, containing a sofa bed, wet bar, refrigerator and microwave. The Homewood Suites sits just across the street from another Hilton hotel (the Hampton Inn), near the west edge of Lubbock by the junction of Loop 289 with Hwy 327. Hilton Garden Inn Lubbock is a fully-featured hotel adjacent to the Canyon West Shopping Center by the intersection of US 62 and Hwy 289 - on the west side of the city, 6 miles from downtown. Guests enter through a stylish lobby with fireplace and feature wall, highlighting the local landscapes. Leisure facilities are a fitness center and indoor pool complete with splash waterfall, while the hotel has the usual facilities for meetings and business. Select accommodations have a microwave and refrigerator.

The westerly of three Hampton Inn hotels in Lubbock enjoys a relatively peaceful setting along a side street in a business/commercial area beside the 289/327 highway intersection; there are various restaurants & shops within walking distance, plus a 16 screen movie theater, though further west the land soon becomes undeveloped, at the start of the flat plains that stretch for hundreds of miles. Most locations in the city are within range of the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. Lubbock's Country Inn is one of a group of hotels on the west side of I-27 a few blocks north of the TX 289 junction and the US 84 junction, best approached from 58th Street, near exit 1A of the interstate. Away from the highways, this is a residential part of Lubbock, but there are a selection of shops and restaurants within 0.5 miles. The hotel offers all the expected amenities including pool (indoor), whirlpool, fitness center, newsstand and free deluxe continental breakfast. Rooms contain a microwave & refrigerator, while the suites have a whirlpool bath and/or kitchenette,

The second Country Inn in Lubbock has a southwesterly location in the city, near the intersection of US 62 with Hwy 327, in a developing area of business and apartment complexes; a ten minute drive from downtown. An indoor pool/hot tub, meeting space, sundry store, coin-operated laundry and outdoor firepit are the main facilities. Hot breakfast is complimentary; for other meals there are two restaurants a few blocks south.

The Home2 Suites has a relatively central location in Lubbock at the intersection of US 82, US 84 and Hwy 326 - at the edge of a residential area though within walking distance of such downtown locations as the Lubbock Civic Center and Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts, plus a Walmart store and several restaurants. The hotel opens spring 2024, offering modern, all-suite accommodations, each with a full kitchen. Daily hot breakfast is complimentary.

Marriott's TownePlace Suites in Lubbock sits in the middle of a busy shopping/business district on the west side of the 289 loop road, in between highways 327 and US 62 - 6 miles from the city center. The hotel features modern, well equipped, all-suite accommodation in 88 suites with a choice of five different floor configurations but all including a full kitchen - oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. Complimentary amenities are hot breakfast, a grocery shopping service and wireless internet access. For relaxation, the TownePlace Suites has the expected pool, hot tub and fitness center.

Aloft Lubbock opened early 2021; a 136 room, five floor hotel, the first of this brand in west Texas, located at the edge of a shopping complex beside Hwy 289, adjacent to a quiet, residential district. The loft-style accommodations feature elevated ceilings, platform beds, upscale amenities, marble bathrooms and walk-in showers, while general facilities include a 24 hour fitness center, swimming pool, a lounge/bar, meeting space and a 24 hour pantry, selling drinks, snacks and light meals. There are several other restaurants in the vicinity.

Wingate by Wyndham Lubbock enjoys a quiet, semi-rural location, on the northwest side of Loop 289 though set well back from the road behind two adjacent businesses, a restaurant and a cinema. The hotel features free hot breakfast buffet, an indoor pool/hot tub, a fitness center and a meeting room. Guest rooms have a coffee/tea maker, refrigerator, microwave and sitting area. A convenience store sells drinks, snacks and sundries. Within walking distance on the far side of the freeway are several stores, and more restaurants. The city center is 4 miles east.

All the oversized guest rooms at Hawthorn Suites Lubbock feature a fully equipped kitchen, plus a living area and work desk. Food for cooking can be purchased from a supermarket, a short walk away on the far side of US 62; the hotel is located along the southern frontage road of the freeway, one mile from Texas Tech University, 3 miles from the city center and just across the street from sports facilities and a lake, in Maxey Park. Free transportation is provided to Lubbock International Airport, 10 miles north; also complimentary are daily hot breakfast and wi-fi. The hotel has a gift shop, 24 hour convenience store, business/fitness centers, an indoor pool and meeting space.

The most central Holiday Inn Express in Lubbock is situated about a mile west of the downtown area along the southern US 82 frontage road, in a residential neighborhood, a short walk from a Walmart superstore and a good selection of restaurants. Jones AT&T Stadium at the edge of the Texas Tech University precinct is just half a mile west. Guests enter the 107 room/suite hotel through a brightly colored lobby, and can take advantage of such facilities as free hot breakfast, a 24 hour coffee station, complimentary wi-fi, a fitness center and outdoor pool.

The more southerly of the three Holiday Inn Express hotels in Lubbock is one of the many lodging choices around the I-27/Loop 289 intersection. Besides other hotels and a few restaurants there are not many facilities nearby; the nearest mall (South Plains) is 5 miles west, and the city center is 3 miles north. One of the highlights of the hotel is the free hot buffet breakfast, which includes a selection of hot items. Leisure amenities are the expected pool (indoor), hot tub and fitness center, while business services include computer access, printing, copy/fax and meeting space.

Holiday Inn Express Lubbock West is the first hotel to welcome travelers arriving from the southwest along US 62/82 - the four floor, 82 room/suite building sits at the edge of a business park close to the highway by the 289 intersection, half a mile from a group of restaurants and large stores. Highlights are free hot breakfast, a modern fitness center, an indoor pool, convenience store, business center and meeting/event space. All rooms have a microwave and refrigerator, and are large, comfortable and nicely decorated.

Best Western Lubbock West offers quiet accommodation - although close to busy Hwy 289 (west side), the hotel is set back from the highway along a side road, close to other hotels and a few restaurants. All guest rooms have refrigerator/microwave; some, the suites, have a sofa bed and extra living space. Daily hot breakfast is complimentary, while the hotel also features a hot tub and a swimming pool.

Guest rooms at the pet friendly Surestay Plus Hotel by Best Western are in two exterior corridor blocks either side of a courtyard garden which features an unusual, landscaped pool on three levels, together with tropical plants and plenty of patio space. The hotel sits beside the busy intersection of US 82 with 19th Street, 2.5 miles due west of the city center and within walking distance of Texas Tech University. Also close by, to the south, is Maxey Park, containing sports facilities, a children's playground an an artificial lake. Complimentary amenities at the Best Western are wi-fi, airport transportation and continental breakfast. One other highlight is a lounge/bar, open for dinner & evening drinks.

The Best Western Plus sits along the southern 289 frontage road, opposite Lubbock Heart Hospital, bordering apartments to one side and fields to the other; a generally quiet location, not near any facilities though there are plenty of restaurants one mile south along 4th Street. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is 2.5 miles away by road. Free full breakfast is provided each morning at the hotel, together with other amenities of an indoor pool, 24 hour fitness/business centers, coin-operated laundry and a snack shop. Accommodations include several suites with hot tub bath and extra living space. Pets are welcome, in certain rooms.

The Fairfield Inn by Marriott sits behind a shopping area with several restaurants and such stores as Target, Office Depot and Sam's Club, along 50th Street at the edge of the countryside on the west side of Lubbock, 7 miles from the downtown area. The usual facilities for leisure (pool, fitness center) and work (meeting room, business center) are provided, plus a dining room where the free hot breakfast is served each morning. The hotel has 76 rooms and 25 suites, on four storeys.

The Fairfield Inn is a southwest Lubbock hotel, part of a group of shops and fast food restaurants around the Quaker Avenue exit of the 289 loop road, all surrounded by an extensive residential area but with several lakes and parks nearby, including the Lakeridge Country Club. Although close to the freeway, the inn is 500 feet back from the frontage road so escaping the traffic noise. This is a good, if basic hotel, with 64 clean rooms, an indoor pool, hot tub, and free continental breakfast.

The Comfort Suites is situated towards the southwest side of Lubbock, along the southern frontage road of US 62, 3.5 miles from the city center. Nearby are a few restaurants (along 34th Street), but there is not much else of interest in the vicinity. All the accommodations are studio suites, equipped with a sofa bed, a microwave and a refrigerator. The hotel also has the expected amenities of fitness/business centers, guest laundry and a hot tub/pool (indoor). Free hot breakfast is served each morning.

Comfort Suites Lubbock is a part of the long line of hotels and other business alongside the 289 loop road in southwest Lubbock. The two floor, interior corridor property offers 66 oversized guest rooms, with an outdoor pool/hot tub at the front, and interior facilities of a business center, meeting space and coin-operated laundry. Free hot breakfast is provided. Select accommodations have a hot tub bath; all contain a microwave & refrigerator. There are many large stores in both directions along highway 298, including the South Plains Mall, 0.2 miles west, and also a good selection of restaurants within walking distance.

The Quality Inn has a prominent but somewhat isolated location in south Lubbock by the junction of US 84 with I-27, the freeways running right past on either side, and surrounded by patches of undeveloped land. Leisure facilities are a heated indoor pool, hot tub, exercise room and patio, this latter on the sunny south side of the building. All guest rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator, while the two-room suites include a kitchenette and separate bedroom. The free breakfast comes with a few hot items.

Near the southwest edge of Lubbock, the Quality Inn & Suites has an easy-to-reach location at the corner of 34th Street and loop 289, 6 miles from downtown. Important places nearby include Lubbock Christian University, Elm Grove Golf Club, South Plains Mall and Texas Tech University. All 65 guest rooms have a microwave & refrigerator, coffee maker and ironing facilities. Free deluxe continental breakfast is served and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The recently built Sleep Inn Lubbock serves the western approach to the city along US 82 - the hotel is a short distance north on Loop 289, at the edge of a residential district near Lubbock Christian University. The 66 rooms are comfortable and modern, all containing a refrigerator/microwave, and a few have a hot tub bath. Free continental breakfast is served; for other meals there is one restaurant adjacent and many more a little way south, by the freeway intersection. The pool & hot tub are indoors, and the other main amenities are free wi-fi, guest laundry and basic business services.

Rooms at the red-roofed Howard Johnson Lubbock face east, looking out across I-27, or west, with views of a small commercial area that includes several restaurants. The interior corridor motel has s southerly location at the 50th Street exit of the interstate, 3 miles from the city center and 9 miles from the international airport. It has an outdoor pool on the south side, and all guest rooms and public areas are clean & modern, since the building is of recent construction (2012). Continental breakfast and wi-fi are the complimentary amenities.

All the oversized accommodations at Microtel Inn Lubbock are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and ironing equipment, while some rooms additionally have a wet bar and/or hot tub. General facilities are an indoor pool, a fitness center, coin-operated laundry and a business center. Free hot breakfast is provided each morning. The hotel opened fall 2017, built beside I-27 at the 50th Street exit, near a post office and half a dozen restaurants. This location is 2 miles south of the city center.

Free breakfast, an outdoor pool and free wi-fi are the amenities of the pet friendly Baymont Civic Center, a typical two floor, exterior corridor motel along Avenue Q, two blocks south of US 82 on the north side of downtown Lubbock. The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts is just down the street. The parking lot is shared with a Denny's restaurant, and there are plenty more dining outlets close by, plus shops including Walmart. Guest rooms feature a microwave, refrigerator and coffee/tea maker.

Unlike many properties of this affordable brand, the Days Inn near Lubbock Medical Center occupies a newly constructed building, along the southern frontage road of the Marsha Sharp Freeway, two miles southwest of Texas Tech University. All guest rooms have a refrigerator and microwave, while the suites include a wet bar and extra living space. Continental breakfast and wi-fi are complimentary. The hotel has a business center and a fitness center, though no pool.

Days Inn Lubbock South is part of the largest group of hotels in the city, around the intersection of I-27, US 84 and Hwy 289, in an otherwise lightly developed neighborhood close to the edge of the surrounding countryside. The building has a slightly unusual design; rooms are on two floors, some reached by corridors around the outside, and in two blocks, either side of a three-story atrium lobby that contains a pool, hot tub and spacious seating area. Other features include a business center, laundry, a dining room where the free continental breakfast is served, and two meeting rooms, both lit by extra large windows.

The red roofed, 48 room Econo Lodge Lubbock is one of several motels along I-27 a few miles south of downtown Lubbock - on the west side of the highway between exits 1A and 1B, surrounded by ample parking space. The main amenities are an indoor heated pool, free enhanced continental breakfast, an exercise room, laundry and business center. Rooms with refrigerator and microwave are available. Apart from other hotels there are fee facilities in the vicinity; the nearest restaurants are half a mile north, along 50th Street.

Right at the west edge of Lubbock, the three story Super 8 is part of a developing commercial area that includes Walmart, Target, Office Depot, various other stores and many restaurants; the hotel is situated by the US 82/Hwy 289 junction, five miles from the city center. The modern, interior corridor property offers free breakfast, an indoor pool, hot tub & steam room, and a range of business, meetings & leisure facilities.

The Super 8 on the north side of Lubbock is part of a commercial district with restaurants, other hotels and a Walmart superstore - along US 84 near the Hwy 82 intersection, just down the street from Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. The motel is small, with just 36 rooms, on two floors of an exterior corridor building; all contain a refrigerator and a microwave. The standard two complimentary amenities of continental breakfast (with eight items) and wi-fi are provided, but there are no other significant facilities. Pets are welcome.
