Johnson City Hotels

The only major hotel in Johnson City is the 53 room Best Western Johnson City Inn, an L-shaped building on the east side of US 281 opposite the junction with US 290. The town with its small selection of shops and restaurants lies just to the west, while to the east, the hotel overlooks mostly unused, wooded land. One of the most attractive of Texas Hill Country State Parks, Pedernales Falls, is 7 miles east along farm road 2766. The hotel has a cocktail lounge, outdoor pool and free breakfast.
