New for spring 2014, the 84 room/suite Holiday Inn Express has a central location in Floresville, along the main road (US 181) adjacent to HEB supermarket, other shops and a selection of restaurants. Downtown San Antonio is just 30 miles away but the town is a peaceful place, surrounded by farmland, 110 miles from Corpus Christi Bay. Hotel highlights include the free hot buffet breakfast, the outdoor pool area with a gazebo and bbq grill, and the meeting space, capable of holding events of up to 60 people. All accommodations contain a refrigerator and microwave.

The Best Western Inn is southernmost of the small number of hotels in Floresville, 20 miles southeast of San Antonio on US 181, the less-traveled route to Ingleside and Corpus Christi. The inn is near the east edge of town along the main road in a residential neighborhood, with many of the 42 rooms overlooking empty, partially wooded land further east. Free continental breakfast is provided, then for lunch & dinner there are several restaurants within walking distance up and down the highway. The hotel has an outdoor pool featuring a small waterfall.
