Most photographs on this site are available for purchase or license as digital files - between 2816 x 2112 pixels and 4000 x 3000 pixels in size (so good for making a print of at least 18 x 12 inches), and high quality jpg in format - though other sizes and formats are available on request. These will be sent by email - one image is between 2 and 3 mb.

Enquiries regarding the small number of images submitted by contributors - as identified by the 'Image credit' line at the foot of the photograph page - will be directed to the person concerned.

For entirely private use, the fee is $20 per photograph.

For one time commercial use, the fee is usually $60 per photograph, though certain applications may cost more.
