Open summer 2021, the 75 room/suite Holiday Inn Express is situated near all other hotels in Firestone, along a side street at the Hwy 24/I-25 intersection (exit 240), a short walk from a selection of restaurants. Downtown Longmont is 7 miles west. On the far side of the interstate, St Vrain State Park contains several ponds, good for wildlife, and explored via loop trails. Wi-fi and free hot buffet breakfast are complimentary at the Holiday Inn Express; also available are a fitness center, indoor pool, meeting space and business center.

The Best Western hotel in Firestone, CO, is part of a small group of lodging 6 miles east of Longmont next to I-25 (exit 240), in a lightly developed area close to the usual selection of fast food restaurants and gas stations but also within a couple of miles of St Vrain State Park, which offers fishing, boating, picnicking and hiking. The three story hotel is relatively new, and it contains 58 large, clean rooms (equipped with microwave/refrigerator), supported by a good range of facilities, principally free full breakfast, an indoor pool, fitness center, spa and business center. Denver city center and the international airport are both about 30 miles south, all along freeways.
