The view near the end of the Cottonwood Lakes Trail, on the divide between Cottonwood Lake Four, in view, and Five, just out-of-sight to the north. A lightly-used continuation path climbs the scree- and snow-covered slopes on the far side of the lake to 12,000 foot Army Pass.
