The full service Holiday Inn is the largest and most central hotel in Cody, WY, located next to Buffalo Inn Village by the junction of Hwy 120 with US 14/16/20 - 52 miles from the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It has 189 rooms, arranged in three blocks around a sheltered garden with outdoor pool; accommodation is somewhat dated but comfortable and spacious. The on-site restaurant/lounge is open all day (plus room service), and catering is available to support the meetings facilities, which comprise ten rooms totaling nearly 9,000 sq ft. Other amenities are a fitness center, gift shop, laundry, business center, and a complimentary shuttle to the local airport.

The newly built (winter 2011) Best Western Premier Ivy Inn has a prominent location along Yellowstone Avenue on the west side of Cody, close to Buffalo Bill Historical Center, Olive Glen Golf & Country Club and several restaurants; the town center is a mile east, while a shopping complex including Wal-Mart is a mile west. 8th Street restaurant/bar, on the premises, is a full service establishment serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, just one of a good number of amenities - the hotel also offers an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, convenience store, business center and meeting space.

On the west side of Cody, the Best Western Sunset Motor Inn occupies quite a spacious, tree-lined site along US 14/16/20, one block south of Buffalo Bill Historical Center. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby though the hotel is also just a short walk away from unspoilt countryside by the Shoshone River. Guests have a choice of 120 rooms, all on the ground floor, looking out over the landscaped gardens, which include an outdoor pool and childrens' playground. Inside are another pool, a hot tub, fitness room, laundry, meetings/banquet facilities and the Sunset House restaurant - serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. Continental breakfast is free.

Cody's Comfort Inn is part of the Buffalo Inn Resort complex, right in the center of town at the junction of Sheridan Ave and 16th St - within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and other attractions like the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The hotel offers 74 nice clean rooms (some with refrigerator/microwave), a gift shop, newsstand, complimentary airport shuttle, and free internet access. Guests have use of the restaurant, bar, outdoor pool and meetings facilities at the Holiday Inn next door.
