The Best Western Tombstone hotel (781 N Highway 80) sits on a small hill just north of town, surrounded by scenic desert and with good views across the plains to distant mountain ranges. The historic center of Tombstone (around Allen Street and Fremont Street) is less than a mile from the hotel while the old Boothill Graveyard is just across the main road. The 2 storey Best Western Lookout Lodge has 40 rooms, a heated outdoor pool, fire pits with seats, and an on-site restaurant/lounge (Ranch 22, open for breakfast & dinner) - making this the only full service hotel in town. The building is relatively old but well maintained, in the care of friendly, helpful staff.

On the same hill as the Best Western stands the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Tombstone - a little larger (60 rooms) and more modern, but offering similar facilities, again with beautiful, panoramic desert views over the San Pedro River Valley and the Dragoon Mountains. The hotel has an outdoor pool, whirlpool, guest laundry and a dining area where the Express Start free continental breakfast is served. The rooms are all large, clean, and equipped with a mini refrigerator.
