Directly south of the center of Mesa and right beside the Superstition Freeway (US 60, S Country Club Drive exit), the large Holiday Inn Phoenix/Mesa/Chandler has an excellent location, easily accessed from anywhere in the east valley, and 12 miles along the freeway from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The full service hotel offers 301 rooms on 6 floors, a restaurant/bar/lounge, room service, 8 meeting rooms, gift shop, 24 hour fitness center and extensive landscaped gardens containing reputedly the biggest outdoor pool in east Phoenix, complete with a mini waterfall.

The 12 storey, 275 room/suite Marriott hotel in downtown Mesa is primarily a business property, offering free internet access, 56,000 sq ft of event space (including the adjacent Convention Center) with a largest single capacity of 1,850, and a full service business center. But all guests will appreciate the good sized outdoor pool, set amidst courtyard gardens featuring a fountain and many tropical plants. A fine view of the garden can be had from the Cafe Azul Mediterranean restaurant, which is open for dinner, breakfast & lunch, as is the lounge/bar in the lobby. The Marriott is located just off Main St near the Mesa Dr intersection - 13 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Largest of three adjacent Marriott hotels in Mesa is the Courtyard, which has 137 rooms & 12 suites, and an excellent reputation for high quality customer service, clean and large rooms, well maintained grounds, and a handy location just off W Southern Avenue - one block from the shops and restaurants of Fiesta Mall. Half the rooms look inwards over the beautiful courtyard garden, in the middle of which is a swimming pool and hot tub. The hotel operates a complimentary 5 mile local area shuttle, putting most sites in Mesa and nearby Tempe within reach. For dining, the on site Courtyard Cafe is open for breakfast (not free).

Mesa's Fairfield Inn is within half a mile of all outlets of the main shopping area in town, comprising the Fiesta Mall, Three Fountains Retail Center and Poca Fiesta Shopping Center. The 64 room/suite, 3 floor hotel has a relatively quiet location near S Alma School Rd and W Southern Ave, overlooking the fairways of Fiesta Lakes Golf Course, yet is just one block away from the Superstition Freeway (US 60). On offer are the two main amenities of free continental breakfast and an outdoor pool.

Right next to the Fairfield Inn is another Marriott hotel, catering to long stay visitors to Mesa - the Residence Inn (941 W Grove Ave) has 117 extra large rooms, all with separate living/working/sleeping areas and a full kitchen. The landscaped, palm tree-lined grounds include an outdoor pool, sports court, sun deck, gazebo and hot tub, while the main interior facilities are a fitness center, guest laundry, and four meeting rooms. Like all Residence Inns the hotel serves free full breakfast, plus a free evening weekday reception when beer, wine & snacks are provided.

Just south of exit 177 (S Dobson Road) of US 60, the Superstition Freeway, stands the elegant Best Western Dobson Ranch Inn & Resort, which has extensive gardens and a large outdoor pool, with 213 rooms and many amenities. This resort hotel occupies an older but well maintained building, decorated in a traditional Southwest style, and is a good choice for vacations or extended stays in the Mesa area. The Inn has its own restaurant/lounge (open for breakfast - free, lunch & dinner), including 2 outdoor patios for al fresco dining.

On the central road through Mesa (1625 E Main Street) half way between Stapley Dr and Gilbert Rd, the Best Western Mesa Inn is well placed for all local attractions, sports, shopping and business. The 2 floor hotel has 98 rooms, a business center and an outdoor pool/hot tub - located at the rear, well away from the main road. The inn provides free expanded continental breakfast, and is right next to a full service restaurant. Accommodation is generally clean, room rates reasonable and the staff friendly.

One of four Best Western hotels in Mesa, the Mezona Inn is situated right in the middle of town (250 W Main St), 2 blocks west of Center St. This is a big hotel containing 128 rooms on 2 floors, in three blocks surrounding a large outdoor pool & courtyard garden, set back a way from the highway so nice and quiet; it offers complimentary expanded continental breakfast, a spa, 24 hour front desk and business center. Sites within walking distance of the hotel include Mesa Southwest Museum, and various shops & restaurants along Main Street.

Towards the east edge of Mesa, Best Western Superstition Springs Inn has a spacious site next to one of the largest malls in Phoenix - the 175 store Superstition Springs Mall. The hotel is easily reached from the Superstition Freeway (US 160) - one block north along S Power Road, starting from exit 188. Also within one mile of the hotel are Factory Sores of America, the Arizona Golf Resort, Leisure World Country Club and several other golf courses. The Best Western has 57 rooms (all with microwave/refrigerator) on 2 floors, an outdoor heated saltwater pool, exercise facility, hot tub, and free breakfast bar. There are 2 restaurants adjacent.

The Sleep Inn of Mesa provides the closest lodging to the Superstition Springs Center, located right next to the parking lot on the west side (near Sears & Mervyns), and a short walk from various restaurants along Southern Avenue. The 84 rooms all contain a refrigerator/microwave, are comfortable, and well looked after. The hotel has all the usual facilities - free continental breakfast, outdoor heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, newsstand, guest laundry and business center.

Although offering accommodation towards the cheaper end of the market, the Quality Inn & Suites Mesa has a decent range of facilities, and a nice setting, based around a secluded courtyard garden containing an outdoor pool and hot tub, lined by tall palm trees. The hotel is located a little way south of Mesa town center along Country Club Drive, one block from the Superstition Freeway and a mile from Fiesta Mall. One closer attraction just across the street is the popular Mesa Golfland SunSplash water park. The inn serves free continental breakfast.

Open late 2007, the newly constructed Comfort Inn & Suites offers affordable, spacious lodging in the center of Mesa, featuring an outdoor pool, picnic area, free continental breakfast, and a microwave/refrigerator in each room. The location is 651 E Main St (south side), within walking distance of various small shops & restaurants, and 4 miles from the many larger stores at Fiesta Mall.
