The view from overlook 3 along the 2.4 mile Slickrock Foot Trail, near the northern edge of a narrow plateau between Big Spring Canyon and Little Spring Canyon; to the north, the canyon soon meets Salt Canyon and then the Colorado River, beyond which are the high mesas of the Island in the Sky district.
