This panorama is taken from a granite plateau at the brink of Tuolumne Falls, one of three large waterfalls along the
Glen Aulin Trail from Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite National Park. The land to the west starts to slope down quite steeply, as the river enters the upper end of the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne.
