This is a view of the largest of the dozen or so Polly Dome Lakes, reached by a short cross-country walk from the
Murphy Creek Trail. The lake has many tiny islands and is surrounded by unbroken pine forest, with the granite slopes of Polly Dome to the south and Tuolumne Peak just visible through the trees to the west.
