This panorama shows the clear, shallow waters of Cliff Lake, criss-crossed by a lattice of fallen, submerged tree trunks. The lake has a scenic location beneath the white granite slopes of Reading Peak, and may be reached by an easy 1.8 mile trail starting along highway 89, the main road through Lassen Volcanic National Park.
