A view of the Colorado River and Sockdolager Rapids, at lower end of the canyon of Hance Creek, the entrance to which is somewhat hidden behind a cluster of green bushes. Around the creek are a pebbly beach and a patch of sand, but sheer cliffs rise up on both sides, so very little of the river's edge is accessible.
