Teakettle Spring
Previous PhotoTeakettle Spring, surrounded by a complete, raised sinter rimNext Photo

A neat, raised rim of sinter encloses Teakettle Spring, just north of Giantess Geyser. Many years ago the water level was right at the top but it has now fallen and is not visible from the boardwalk. The spring is quite active, and is audible from the path, but it does not erupt; only steam rises above the cone.
