Sand Point is a promontory on the east side of Lake Tahoe, next to the beach at Sand Harbor - the most popular part of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park
. The smooth white granite boulders at the edge of the point are fun to climb over, and are surrounded by shallow water, good for paddling.
