Sand Point is a promontory on the east side of Lake Tahoe, next to the beach at Sand Harbor - the most popular part of
Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. The smooth white granite boulders at the edge of the point are fun to climb over, and are surrounded by shallow water, good for paddling.
