Navy Beach is a flat section of the Mono Lake shoreline once used by the military for weapons testing, and is reached by a short track branching off the road to the South Tufa formations. Features in view include the Sierra Nevada to the west, Paoha Island to the north, Cowtrack Mountain in the east and the Mono Craters to the south.
