This panorama shows part of the boardwalk trail across West Thumb Geyser Basin - the eastern section, along the shore of Yellowstone Lake. Away from the lake, many steam plumes indicate the location of some of the basin's hot pools and springs, closest being Black Pool, 50 feet further along the path.
