The promontory at the end of the Watchman Trail overlooks several miles of Zion Canyon, the Virgin River and Highway 9, from Springdale in the south, northwards over various park buildings including the Zion IMAX Theater, Watchman Campground, Zion Museum and the visitor center. Directly opposite are the tall cliffs of Towers of the Virgin, with The Sentinel and the Three Patriarchs beyond.
