Monument Valley > Valley Drive > QTVR Panorama John Ford's Point is perhaps the most famous overlook along the scenic drive through Monument Valley; an elevated viewpoint at the end of a narrow promontory looking back over the first few miles of the road at it runs beneath Merrick Butte and East Mitten Butte before climbing slightly past Elephant Butte. To the west are Mitchell Mesa and the Three Sisters, while to the southeast, peaks in view include Camel Butte and Rain God Mesa. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
