Open 2007, the Holiday Inn Salt Lake City Airport hotel (5001 W Wiley Posy Way) is a beautiful new 4 floor building with modern, contemporary decor, containing 87 rooms, 24 suites, a bar/lounge, restaurant open for breakfast, lunch & dinner (room service available), heated indoor pool, fitness center, hot tub, convenience store and 2,324 sq ft of meeting space. A free shuttle is available from the airport (3 miles east via I-80), taking guests right to the welcoming lobby, featuring a fireplace, easy chairs and large screen TV. Downtown Salt Lake City is 7 miles away.

One of the newest Salt Lake City airport hotels, as well as one of the closest, the Holiday Inn Express lies just 1.5 miles east of the terminal building, served by complimentary shuttle. The location is 200 N 2100 W St, just off W North Temple St which leads to Temple Square and the center of Salt Lake City after another 3.5 miles. The Holiday Inn Express offers 92 large, clean rooms, a 24 hour business center and a good quality free continental breakfast. Leisure amenities comprise an indoor pool, hot tub, health & fitness center and spa.

On the northeast corner of the intersection of W North Temple and N 22 W Streets, the Candlewood Suites Salt Lake City Airport hotel is just 1.5 miles from the main terminal and operates a free airport shuttle. The hotel has 122 fully equipped suites, each with a fully equipped kitchen, an executive desk, 2 phone lines and free high speed internet. Other amenities include a 24 hour fitness center, music/video rental library, guest laundry and a convenience store. Pets are allowed, for a fee.

Considered one of the top hotels in all of Salt Lake City, the Residence Inn by Marriott at the international airport is an all suite property offering enhanced amenities for extended stays - including free hot breakfast, free evening light dinner with beer/wine (Mon-Thu), a grocery shopping service and guest laundry, plus the usual leisure facilities of indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. The 104 suites have a full kitchen, extra sofa bed, two TVs, and separate areas for working, relaxing & sleeping. The Residence Inn is located next to exit 112 of I-80, a 3 mile drive from the airport terminal (served by complimentary shuttle).

The Courtyard Salt Lake City Airport hotel is part of a group of office buildings, other hotels and a few restaurants just southwest of the terminal buildings, next to exit 114 of interstate 80, and 6 miles from downtown Salt Lake. The on-site Courtyard Cafe serves breakfast (not complimentary), dinner and evening cocktails; the other main facilities are a fitness room, indoor pool, hot tub, guest laundry, business center, and two meeting rooms. The hotel has 154 comfortable, oversized rooms & suites, on three floors.

One of the latest additions to Salt Lake City airport accommodation is the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, another of the group of hotels a short distance west of the terminals, by I-80 exit 114 - 6 miles from the city center. The hotel is large (5 floors, 143 rooms) and elegant, providing free breakfast buffet, free internet access, free 24 hour airport shuttle, guest laundry, pool/fitness center and a meeting room. The studio suites all have an 37" HD TV, sofa bed and a kitchenette equipped with sink, refrigerator and microwave. The hotel opened early 2009.

Another modern hotel on the west side of Salt Lake City International Airport, the Fairfield Inn provides good quality accommodation to airline passengers or those traveling along I-80 - the hotel is one of the first to greet those arriving on the interstate from the west. It offers free hot breakfast, free airport shuttle (6 am to 11 pm), a fitness room, convenience store and an indoor pool/hot tub. The attached Perkins Cafe and Bakery is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening drinks.

Two miles west of the international airport, Comfort Inn Salt Lake City Airport at 200 N Admiral Byrd Road is a medium-sized hotel beside exit 113 of I-80 - opposite the Fairfield Inn. Like all airport hotels, the Comfort Inn runs a free, 24 hour shuttle, and other facilities include free full breakfast, outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub, sauna, exercise room, newsstand and business center. All accommodations feature a microwave and refrigerator. Pets are welcome, for a fee.

Part of a small group of hotels on the east side of the international airport, adjacent to the I-215/I-80 intersection (and 2 miles from I-15), Comfort Suites Salt Lake City Airport has 104 north or south-facing rooms, all large and modern, containing a refrigerator & microwave; some have a whirlpool bath. Staff are friendly, rates quite low, and facilities are good, including a free hot breakfast, an indoor pool & hot tub, fitness center, two meeting rooms, gift shop and guest laundry.

At 1659 W North Temple, the Quality Inn Airport is 3 miles east of the international airport, and 3 miles west of downtown Salt Lake City, which is well served by the local bus system. This is quite a large hotel, offering 191 spacious rooms in 4 blocks around a central landscaped garden with outdoor pool, trees and flowers. Exit 117 of I-80 is 2 blocks south, and I-215 is a short distance west. Amenities include free hot breakfast, free evening reception (Mon-Thu), fitness center, guest laundry and meeting/banquet space.

One of a small group of hotels west of Salt Lake City airport, the Quality Inn has 59 recently renovated rooms & suites, plus the usual amenities of an outdoor pool with hot tub, fitness center, business center and free deluxe continental breakfast. A complimentary 24 hour shuttle is available to the airport, 2 miles away. The hotel is located just north of I-80 (exit 113), right at the edge of greater Salt Lake City; to the west begin the barren plains surrounding the Great Salt Lake.
