One of the few hotels in the small town of Blanding, at the foothills of the Abajo Mountains, the Super 8 is situated at the south edge of town in a lightly developed area along the main road (US 191); set back a little from the highway and so providing a quiet night's sleep. The center of Blanding is less than a mile to the north, while several stores and restaurants are within one or two blocks, nearest being 'The Old Tymer', right next door. The only amenities at the interior corridor Super 8 are free internet access and free continental breakfast, but the rooms are clean, rates are low and the motel provides the closest chain accommodation to many spectacular south Utah landscapes including
Natural Bridges National Monument,
Cedar Mesa and
White Canyon.
