Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area > QTVR Panorama From the visitor carpark at Flaming Gorge Dam, a short path leads to a picnic area on a grassy promontory, near several sandy beaches and overlooking the east end of the reservoir. The dam is surrounded by low, wooded hills formed of Weber sandstone, deep red in color and angled by about 20° from the horizontal. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
