Reached by a short trail through the fir/spruce forest, Yovimpa Point looks out over a curving section of the Pink Cliffs near the southern end of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, 16 miles from the Bryce Canyon National Park visitor center. A nearby path links with the Bristlecone Loop Trail which has several equally fine views. On clear days, features visible from Yovimpa Point include the Paria River, Highway US 89, Vermilion Cliffs, Buckskin Mountain and the Kaibab Plateau.
