The view from the Fiery Furnace Overlook, close to the scenic drive in Arches National Park; the Furnace is a collection of jumbled red and white sandstone rocks that extends along the east side of the road for several miles. In the other direction the land drops away to the Salt Valley, beyond which are the spires and pinnacles of the Windows Section, with the La Sal Mountains on the far horizon.
