Ozona's newly built Holiday Inn Express opened summer 2009 next to I-10 (exit 365) near the town center - along Avenue E, which is a mostly residential street though the hotel is adjacent to a gas station and several restaurants. All the 70 bright, spacious guest rooms are equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV and free internet access; also available are a number of suites with a sofa bed and separate living/dining areas. Free hot breakfast, an outdoor pool, a business center and exercise room are the other main amenities.

The Best Western is the smaller of the two main hotels in Ozona, a country town on I-20 about 1/3 of the way from San Antonio to El Paso; the address is 1307 Avenue A, which is at the east edge of town close to exit 365 of the interstate. Free continental breakfast is offered, and there are a selection of restaurants nearby, around the exit. The hotel is clean, comfortable and welcoming; it has 50 rooms (refrigerator, microwave & sofa bed available) on 2 floors, an outdoor pool, business center and guest laundry.
