The Best Western Plus provides modern, high quality lodging to Lytle visitors or those passing by on I-35; the inn is built in a peaceful, countryside neighborhood along the southern interstate frontage road, but is still within walking distance of restaurants and other facilities on the far side, towards the town center. This location is 24 miles from downtown San Antonio and 130 miles from Laredo. Rooms at the Best Western are large and nicely decorated, all equipped with a microwave & refrigerator, past of a handsome three floor building that also contains a fitness center, indoor pool/hot tub, meeting room and a dining area for the free hot breakfast.

Lyte is a farming town alongside I-35, 20 miles southwest of San Antonio; it has a HEB supermarket, various smaller stores, the usual selection of fast food restaurants, and two hotels - smallest being the exterior corridor Days Inn, an older property located right next to the interstate (exit 131), within walking distance of many of the shops. Rates are low, reflecting the limited facilities; a pool, cable TV, and refrigerator/microwave in most rooms. Pets are welcome.
