Fifty miles southeast of San Antonio along US 181, the Days Inn is the one chain hotel in the small farming community of Kenedy, and it has a quiet, countryside setting along the highway on the north side of town, near Karnes Country Airport. A few restaurants and shops (including Wal-Mart) are within walking distance, though most facilities in Kenedy are one or two miles south. The exterior corridor inn was remodeled in 2009, and offers free continental breakfast, free internet access, cable TV, a mini refrigerator in most rooms, and a small fitness center.
