Dalhart Hotels

Dalhart's Holiday Inn Express is another hotel on the northeast side of town, at 801 Liberal St (US 54), which is 5 blocks along from the junction with US 87/385. The neighborhood is mixed residential/commercial, including a selection of restaurants along the main road, mostly to the west. The hotel has an indoor pool, fitness center and breakfast bar. The main natural attractions in this area, Lake Meredith and Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument, are 80 miles southeast.

Dalhart is the most northwesterly town in Texas and has a fair selection of hotels and motels. About the most central is Best Western Nursanickel Motel at 102 Scott St, next to the intersection of US 54, US 87/385 and TX 297, though also quite close to a railway junction. The 55 room, 2 floor motel has an outdoor pool and serves free breakfast.

Rodeway Inn Dalhart is located a mile northeast of downtown, along US 54 that leads to Stratford and Oklahoma - on the south side of the highway overlooking a small lake to the rear. This is a well reviewed, pet friendly hotel, with a seasonal outdoor pool, free continental breakfast, a microwave in all rooms and a refrigerator in some. Several restaurants are close by including a steakhouse and a Chinese buffet.
