Fort Davis National Historic Site

A view of Fort Davis National Historic Site from the edge of the Davis Mountains, 200 feet above the flat valley floor - a viewpoint reached by a 0.3 mile trail. Major buildings in the fort, from left to right, are several two storey officer's quarters, the granary, the commissary, part of the quartermaster corral, two of the enlisted men's barracks, Officers' Row, the hospital and the hospital storehouse.
