White Sands National Monument > Alkali Flat Trail > QTVR Panorama A panorama at the half way point of the Alkali Flat Trail - a little way out into the flat playa, beyond the west edge of the dunes. Two lines of posts mark the course of the trail back into the dunes; in the other direction (west) the dry lake bed stretches for ten miles, towards the San Andres Mountains on the horizon. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
