The Staybridge Suites is a new hotel at the north edge of Las Cruces just off N Main St (US 82/70), the road to Alamogordo and the White Sands National Monument; the property is located at 2651 Northrise Dr, half a mile east of I-25 exit 6. The hotel is an imposing 4 storey building containing 87 suites, quite well separated from adjoining buildings and offering expansive views south over the city and east towards the distant Organ Mountains. The main amenities of this extended stay hotel are an outdoor pool/whirlpool, recreation court, putting green, convenience store and breakfast buffet.

One of the newest hotels in Las Cruces is the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, at 2635 S Valley Drive - adjacent to exit 142 of I-10 (east side), close to the suburbs of Mesilla and Tortugas, and 2 miles south of the city center. The non-smoking and no pets property opened summer 2008, and provides 87 large, modern rooms & suites on 4 floors; other amenities are a fitness center, indoor pool, whirlpool, business center and free breakfast bar. The hotel is just about the closest to New Mexico State University Las Cruces - the campus starts half a mile east.

The Holiday Inn Express is a 2011 addition to the group of hotels at the I-25/US 70 intersection, on the north side of Las Cruces 2 miles from the city center, and close to various restaurants & large stores. The 4 floor building is set a little way back from the highway, with views to the east over mostly undeveloped land, across which runs a walking/cycling trail. All the reliable, good quality Holiday Express amenities are provided, including free hot breakfast, indoor pool & hot tub, fitness center, business center and meeting space, for up to 50 attendees. All rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator, and are equipped with extra comfortable bedding.

The Best Western hotel in Las Cruces has its 69 clean, Southwestern-style rooms divided into several 2 floor, exterior corridor units arranged around the parking lot and an outdoor pool surrounded by a nice garden area - all set back a way from the main road for a quieter night's sleep. The location is 1765 S Main St, a mile or so from downtown Las Cruces, and reached from I-10 by driving 6 blocks north from exit 142. New Mexico State University is 1.5 miles southeast. The Best Western Mission Inn has a restaurant, lounge and night club all on the premises, offers free full breakfast and free access to a local health club.

Marriott's SpringHill Suites in Las Cruces is one of the older hotels for this brand though a recent renovation has maintained its high standards of cleanliness and comfort. There are 101 rooms in the 3 floor building, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee/tea maker, and 37 inch TV receiving an enhanced selection of cable channels. Free hot breakfast, a fitness center, hot tub and outdoor pool complete the list of amenities. The hotel has a fairly quiet location beside I-10 (exit 140; Avienda de Mesilla), 1.4 miles from the center of Las Cruces.

The Fairfield Inn is one of the few hotels on the north side of Las Cruces, NM, and has an easily reached location along the I-25 frontage road, a little way southeast of exit 6 (Main St; US 70/82). Accommodation comprises 81 rooms, equipped with a new 32 inch TV, microwave, ironing facilities and a coffee maker. For relaxation there is an outdoor pool at the rear (facing the interstate), but no hot tub or fitness center. Free hot breakfast is provided.

One block from the Fairfield Inn stands another Marriott property, catering more to the long stay market - TownePlace Suites Las Cruces has 81 rooms, in quite a new, 3 storey building on the northeast side of town, close to the intersection of I-25 and US 70/82. The suites feature a full kitchen, a pull-out sofa bed, separate living/sleeping sections, a large work desk, and extra comfortable bedding. Basic free breakfast is served, and the main street (Telshaw Court) has a small selection of restaurants. For leisure, guests have use of the usual pool, hot tub and fitness center.

Halfway between downtown Las Cruces and the historic town of Mesilla, the Comfort Inn & Suites Las Cruces is a new hotel of 50 rooms (all with microwave/refrigerator), just southwest of exit 140 of interstate 10 (Avenue de Mesilla), in a mostly residential neighborhood. Because of the extra clean rooms, nice staff, and reasonable prices, this hotel is rated one of the best in Las Cruces. Mesilla has many fine shops and restaurants, all within a mile of the hotel. Facilities at the Comfort Inn include a heated indoor pool/whirlpool, sauna, free continental breakfast, newsstand, meeting rooms and an exercise room.

On the northwest corner of the intersection of I-25 with University Avenue (exit 1), the Comfort Suites hotel in Las Cruces is a quiet, cozy, reasonably priced establishment, with oversized rooms containing separate sleeping/working/living areas. This location is about 1.5 miles east of downtown Las Cruces, a mile north of I-10 (exit 142), and near to the campus of New Mexico State University. There are at least 6 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which has 61 suites on 3 floors, an indoor pool, hot tub and several meeting rooms. Free full breakfast is served.

Adjacent to the Comfort Suites (at 2121 S Triviz Dr) lies another Choice Hotels property, the Sleep Inn Las Cruces, offering generally similar facilities and slightly cheaper rates. The 3 storey building has a clean, well maintained appearance and Southwestern styling; inside are found a pool, hot tub and 63 rooms, some of which are equipped with microwave, refrigerator & extra sofa bed. The hotel provides the standard free continental breakfast.

One of five Choice hotels in Las Cruces, NM, the Comfort Inn is located at 2585 S Valley Dr, one block north of I-10 exit 142 (Main St), a mile south of the town center and 8 miles from Las Cruces International Airport. The interior corridor hotel has 38 rooms on 2 floors, with parking at each side and an outdoor pool at the rear; it has a good reputation for clean, comfortable, dependable accommodation. Free continental breakfast is available and there are at least 6 restaurants adjacent or nearby.

Once a Holiday Inn Express, the new Quality Inn hotel in Las Cruces has a south central location in town at 2200 S Valley Drive, a short distance north of I-10 exit 142 in a rather industrial neighborhood; the inn is an exterior corridor, V shaped building enclosing the parking area and outdoor pool. New Mexico State University is a mile to the east, and downtown Las Cruces a mile to the north. The hotel has the usual amenities of free continental breakfast, fitness center, newsstand and guest laundry, plus a microwave & refrigerator in each room.

Days Inn Las Cruces is a large, well managed, full service hotel just southwest of downtown Las Cruces on the road to Mesilla; one block north of I-10 exit 140. The inn has 160 rooms in 3 blocks enclosing an outdoor pool, gardens and terrace bar. The bar is attached to the hotel's on-site restaurant (Eddie's), popular with locals as well as guests, and open all day for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Mesilla's shops and restaurants are one mile south, though there are several stores much closer, including Wal-Mart.
