Alamogordo's Holiday Inn Express is a beautiful, relatively new hotel towards the south of town, at 100 Kerry Avenue, just east of highways US 70 and US 54. The inn offers 80 rooms & suites on 3 floors, and all the expected facilities including an indoor pool/whirlpool, health & fitness center, business center, meeting room, guest laundry and free breakfast bar, but it earns a reputation as the best hotel in town on account of the quiet location, friendly staff, reasonable rates and excellent standard of cleanliness. The nearest restaurants, bars and shops are a short distance north along S White Sands Blvd.

Like most hotels in Alamogordo, NM, the Comfort Inn & Suites is located along S White Sands Blvd, the main road into the center of town - near the south edge of the suburbs close to highways US 70 & US 54. This hotel is on the west side of the road half a mile from the highway junction, in a desert setting with undeveloped land to the rear but with mountain views to the east.
