Mill City is a tiny town of a dozen or so buildings alongside interstate 80, 25 miles west of Winnemucca. Budget-priced lodging is available at the Knights Inn, a small interior corridor building adjacent to the TA travel center, which includes two restaurants, a lounge/bar, a casino (Mr B's) and a truck repair shop. Amenities are limited to guest laundry, wi-fi, free phone calls and free coffee. Pets are welcome. Boating, fishing and hiking are available at the nearby Rye Patch Reservoir State Recreation Area, 25 miles west.
