Black Rock Desert > QTVR Panorama Driving just a couple of miles into the dry lake bed (Black Rock Playa) at the southern end of the Black Rock Desert is enough for a good appreciation of the scale and beauty of the landscape. This view is taken along the temporary road from the 3 mile access point, where the playa is bordered by the Granite Range in the west and the Selenite Range in the east. The small town of Gerlach is just visible to the south. To navigate in a panorama, use the mouse to click and drag the picture left or right, or the keyboard arrow keys. Press the Shift key to zoom in or the Control key to zoom out. |
