This photograph shows the southern end of the Black Rock Desert, beside county route 34/2094 eleven miles north of Gerlach - near the site of the 2009 Burning Man complex, which is under construction out on the playa. The far edge of the dry lake is bordered by the Selenite Range and Old Razorback Mountain, with the Sheephead Mountains beyond. |
