The Holiday Inn Express hotel in Kalispell has a scenic location at the edge of the countryside on the northern approach to town along US 93, part of a newly developed shopping area with many restaurants and large stores. Most of the 110 rooms & suites enjoy mountain views, and are part of an attractive, red timber-fronted building that also contains a Western-style lobby, a business center, meeting space, fitness center, indoor pool and whirlpool. Free hot breakfast is served. The center of Kalispell is 3 miles south, while distances to area attractions include Flathead Lake (12 miles), Glacier National Park (33 miles) and Whitefish Lake State Park (14 miles).

Although advertised as being in Kalispell, Best Western White Oak Grand is found in the countryside 8 miles south of the city by the US 93-MT 82 intersection, right at the edge of the wooded hills of the Flathead National Forest, and 1.5 miles from the north shore of Flathead Lake. Apart from a gas station next door there are no facilities nearby; the closest restaurants are by the lake or near the city airport on the south side of Kalispell. There are 59 rooms available, some with one or more of a microwave, refrigerator, fireplace and hot tub bath, and including several types of suite. Free continental breakfast is provided, and the hotel has leisure amenities of an indoor pool, hot tub & fitness room.

Hilton Garden Inn Kalispell opened 2007 along US 93 on the south side of town next to the local airport, part of a corridor of shops, restaurants and other hotels 33 miles from the main natural attraction in the area, Glacier National Park. The full service property has a restaurant open for breakfast and a lounge/bar serving dinner (room service available), plus other facilities of a casino, indoor pool/hot tub, fitness center, 24 hour convenience store, 24 hour business center, 14,000 sq ft of meeting space and a free airport shuttle. All 144 luxurious guest rooms are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator.

The Hampton Inn is the more affordable of two Hilton properties in Kalispell, and is regarded by some as the best hotel in the area because of the reasonable rates, the good sized, nicely decorated rooms, the attentive staff, the wide range of choices for the free hot breakfast, and the location - along the main road US 2 next to shopping and dining but set back a little from the road allowing for a quiet night's sleep. The hotel has 120 guest rooms, plus all the expected amenities; a business center and meeting space, fitness center, hot tub & pool. Glacier Park International Airport is 10 miles north, while Kalispell City Airport is 2.5 miles south.

Comfort Inn Big Sky welcomes travelers arriving in Kalispell from the west along US 2 from Idaho - the hotel is situated right at the edge of the city in a semi-rural neighborhood though just a short walk from a good selection of restaurants and several large stores. The property is fairly old but accommodation is spacious, clean and affordable, and some of the 64 rooms have additional amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator & whirlpool bath. The hotel provides free continental breakfast (including hot waffles), and has other facilities of an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, free wi-fi and meeting/business services.

One of several hotels beside Kalispell City Airport on the south side of town, the Econo Lodge accommodates guests in 68 basic but comfortable rooms, some containing a refrigerator/microwave and including several suites with either a fireplace or hot tub bath. Free continental breakfast is prepared each morning and for other meals there are a number of restaurants & bars within walking distance along the main road (US 93). The exterior corridor inn also offers an outdoor hot tub, away from the highway in the parking lot at the rear, plus free wi-fi and a copy/fax service.
