Take a tour of some of the most scenic parks, preserves and viewpoints along the north coast of California - from San Francisco to Redwood National Park. Most of the coast is accessed by Highway 1 or US 101, the one major exception being the 75 mile section between Hardy (north of Fort Bragg) and Eureka. Besides the national park, the other most popular locations are Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Point Reyes National Seashore, Sonoma Coast State Park, Patricks Point State Park and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.
