From the east shore of Bierstadt Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, the view includes several high summits along the continental divide: Taylor Peak, Otis Peak, Hallett Peak, Flattop Mountain and Notchtop Mountain, with Tyndall Glacier at the center. The lake sits atop a flat glacial moraine, ringed by tall grasses and enclosed by thick pine forest.
