The Best Western is the only chain hotel in Nederland, CO, a small town near the east edge of the Rocky Mountains - 16 miles from Boulder and 40 miles south of Estes Park. The timber clad, 2 storey building has just 23 rooms, some looking out over Boulder Creek which flows through the middle of town right past the hotel and into Barker Reservoir a mile east. All are clean and cozy, equipped with a microwave, gas fire, and pine furniture. Other amenities are limited to guest laundry, free breakfast, and a hot tub next to the creek, but the Best Western has a good central location; within walking distance of all shops & restaurants in town, and a short drive from many recreational sites in the surrounding Roosevelt National Forest.
